Our Story

Our founder, Jodilyn Owen, is a midwife and maternal health systems strategist who has spent more than two decades on the front lines of the fragments, silos, and fissures we call a healthcare system.

Over the years, she noticed a pattern. The moments that mattered most happened outside of appointments — and the providers who could have been there for them were drowning in administration, billing, and paperwork that had nothing to do with care. Exceptional clinicians and community organizations weren't failing; they were carrying a system that was never built for them.

She believed there had to be a better way — not another app, not another point solution, but infrastructure.

Lentia OS was created to give independent, community-based women's healthcare organizations the operating system they've never had: the administrative, clinical, and intelligence backbone that lets small organizations run with the strength of large systems — without giving up their independence, their relationships, or their roots in community.

Lentia is the orchestration layer that connects people, workflows, clinical care, revenue, and operational intelligence into a continuously learning healthcare infrastructure—watch this space for all the spaces Lentia is learning and growing.

The goal is simple: when the people who care for women are held by strong systems, women and families are held by strong care.

Why Lentia?

Lentia is inspired by the concept of Festina Lente — Latin for Make Haste Slowly.

To us, it means moving toward what matters with intention, integrity, and thoughtful attention. It means making clear decisions, tending to the details, and creating space for both wisdom and action.

Healthcare built for women deserves infrastructure built with the same care it delivers. That belief is at the heart of Lentia OS.

Mission

Democratize institutional capability.

Every independent healthcare organization deserves access to the operational, clinical, compliance, and revenue capabilities that have historically been available only to large health systems.

Vision

We envision a future where independent healthcare organizations and care enablement companies can deliver exceptional care without being limited by administrative burden, fragmented technology, or lack of infrastructure.

The future of healthcare belongs to organizations with the best capabilities—not simply the biggest building.

Product

Lentia is an AI-native healthcare infrastructure company.

Our platform connects operations, compliance, revenue intelligence, clinical workflows, and longitudinal intelligence into one continuously learning system that helps organizations operate with enterprise-grade capability.

Why We Exist

Healthcare doesn't struggle because independent organizations provide poor care.

Many deliver extraordinary care.

They struggle because they face the same operational, regulatory, financial, and technological demands as billion-dollar health systems—without access to the same infrastructure.

We built Lentia to change that.

Founder

Lentia was founded by Jodilyn Owen, a licensed midwife and healthcare executive who has spent more than two decades building, operating, and improving independent healthcare organizations.

After experiencing these challenges firsthand—from clinical care to executive leadership—she set out to build the infrastructure she wished had existed.
